Fortnite Players have been researching the locations of alien artifacts for weeks to trick their alien Kymera skins. These items act as in-game currency specifically for the skin, and there are several ways to get them. You can discover the new pink and shiny cartridges that appear on the map each week for around 20 on average, and open Cosmic Chests for additional weekly bonuses. Week 9 has arrived and you can earn 20 more Alien Artifacts in a few quick matches from Fortnite by following this location guide.
If you need to track down alien artifacts from previous weeks, see our Season 7 guides hub for all the locations. Interestingly enough, the game now reveals the locations of nearby alien artifacts on the minimap. This should make it even easier for you if you have to catch up for several weeks.
Week 9 Alien Artifact Locations for Kymera
This week should be pretty easy to accomplish in one match as long as the circle is kind to you. As usual, it is recommended to grab one of the alien UFOs in order to reach all locations quickly and safely. Start by landing at the UFO parked under the bridge southeast of the Corny complex. You might also want to grab a weapon if you see one on the bridge, just in case you need to defend yourself.
The first alien artifact to recover is from the gas station between Corny Complex and Lazy Lake. Check inside the larger building with the restaurant to find it inside.
Then go west to the IO base in the center of the map where Rick Sanchez hangs out. It is the base on the mountain east of Weeping Woods. There you will find the next alien artifact in the satellite dish.
The next location is not far away and you are about to see a pattern. Head to Weeping Woods and gravitate towards the old Spire Tower. Just to the north is a small, primitive hut where the alien artifact is hidden.
Artifact number four can be found in a small hut on an island off the west coast of the map. This is one of the reasons why you want to acquire one of the UFOs this week.
The last alien artifact can be found in another hut on another island. You may or may not be able to access this in the same match, but it’s pretty easy to grab it in another match. Head to the mid-sized island off the north coast of the map. This is the island northwest of Craggy Cliffs where Splode’s character used to hang out.
Others appear in new locations every week
That’s it for week 9, but we’ve got all kinds of other guides for Fortnite Season 7 Invasion, and we’ll show you where to find more alien artifacts in new locations in the future. You’ll need a bunch of Alien Artifact Points to unlock all of the Kymera styles, so check back every week to save time.
