Fuljenz honored for his book on gold coins


Famous rare coin dealer of Beaumont Michael Fuljenzpresident of Universal Coin and Bullionwas honored at the recent World’s Fair in Chicago in 2022 for a landmark book he wrote on historic 19th century United States gold coins.
His book, “Type Two Double Eagles 1866-1876, a numismatic history and analysis“, had been named Best Investing Book of the Year speak Numismatic Literary Guildan international organization of journalists, editors and authors who write about money.
“The type two design coins were the first $20 gold coins, known as Double Eagles, to include the motto IN GOD WE TRUST. They are an important part of American currency,” Fuljenz said.

Governor Greg Abbott renewed Holder Charles E. “Charlie” of Vidor and William G. “Will” Jenkins III from Beaumont to Jefferson and Orange County Board of Pilot Commissioners for terms expiring August 22, 2024. The board has exclusive jurisdiction over pilotage services provided in Jefferson or Orange County, including intermediate stops and landing places for vessels on the waterways navigable wholly or partly within the jurisdiction of the council.

Holder is President and CEO of Benefit testing, elderly care instead of home, and Shareholders, LLC. He is a member of the Entrepreneurs Organization, chairman of the board of the Betterment for Seniors Foundation, member of the board of directors of Meals on Wheels of Jefferson, Orange and Hardin Counties, and founder of the Be a Santa to a Senior program in southeast Texas. Holder attended Lamar University and earned a master’s degree in entrepreneurship from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

He is also a member of the board of directors of the Coastal Conservation Association – Golden Triangle and vice-president of Marketing for the Council of Trois-Rivières. Jenkins received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Texas A&M University.
